The apocalyptic landscape is even more haunting because of the pastels— rather than blood red clouds they are pink, yet they mirror the pink flesh of the corpses filling the bottom of the landscape. The blacks of the birds and the horse are stark and frightening- the rigidity of the horse from tail to nose is unnerving and of course Discord’s exaggerated mouth and eyes are. ugh. wow.
